Our year started with a bang, with some of our Team travelling to Las Vegas to attend the Redken Symposium - undoubtedly one of the biggest events in the hairdressing calendar, with some of the most talented stylists from across the world showcasing their skills.
Last year's L'Oréal Men's Image Award winners Rachel Mannix and Suzie Dowling had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with the hairdressing icon Trevor Sorbie MBE, swopping hairdressing tips and tricks.
Anne McDonald from our Arthur street salon in Belfast worked on a beautiful shoot for In! Magazine with the stunning Phoebe Tan, landing the coveted cover shot!
We launched our annual Shave or Dye fundraising mission in conjunction with Today FM. In support of this amazing event, our Teams up and down the country took part in our 'Decades of Disasters' themed fundraisers, creating good (and bad!) hair from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
We also enjoyed our first Trend Forecast Event with Educators Nadine Quinn and Aine Corley and Retail Specialist Chris Devine, who presented to Ireland's most popular bloggers and journalists, as well as filming for Evoke.ie.
Later on in the month, the renowned hairdresser Darren Ambrose presented his 'Urban Camouflage' show at a specialist Peter Mark and Nioxin event which left everyone who attended in awe of his intricate work.
The month closed out with Nadine Quinn and Michelle McDermott both in London working backstage at London Fashion Week.
Educator Nadine Quinn had an extremely busy month, styling an editorial shoot for Italian Vogue in London with internationally renowned photographer Tim Walker, styling the hair for the Haider Ackermann AW fashion show in Paris Fashion Week and lastly travelling to Italy for a turn back stage at Milan Fashion Week.
Meanwhile back home, we continued to showcase our talent through various in-salon competitions, including our 'Saints and Sinners' themed competition, held in our Merrion salon, with our Merrion Stylist Aisling McGovern taking the main prize.
This was a fantastic month in Northern Ireland, with our Forestside Stylists Jamie Lynn and Alanda Patrick qualifying to compete in the UK Grand Final of the L'Oréal Colour Trophy 2015.
The Peter Mark VIP Style Awards took place in the beautiful Marker Hotel. These awards are one of the highlights of the Dublin social scene and congratulations once again to Pippa O'Connor who was crowned the Most Stylish Woman of 2015.
This month heralded the 10th birthday of our Dundrum Town Centre salon, who celebrated this milestone with special offers for clients (and lots of cake!)
We reopened our beautifully renovated Market Cross salon in Kilkenny.
A record breaking number of our salon teams qualified as finalists in the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Ireland.
Continuing to celebrate and showcase the talent rising up through the ranks, we held a trainee creative competition in Belfast, with Lisburn stylist Chantelle Walsh taking the main prize.
Our fabulous Team in Mullingar took home the award for Best Hair Salon in the inaugural Westmeath Style Awards, which took place in the Sheraton Hotel in Athlone.
We introduced the luxury hair care range Shu Uemura to our flagship store on Grafton Street and our online shop!
Our Instagram and Facebook Competition winners got the chance to be pampered like celebrities in our Stephen's Green salon by Celebrity Stylist Michael Doyle.
Stylist Lorraine Coughlan from our Blanchardstown Level 2 salon shot an A/W trends shoot for the Irish Sun Fashion Supplement.
We hosted an Up-Styling competition ahead of the Ladies Day event at the Galway races, showcasing some beautiful looks which incorporated stunning headpieces by Fusion Design, our overall winners Linda and Karina taking the prize with their beautiful model Paulina.
Conor Doyle from our Dundrum Town Centre salon won the coveted L'Oréal Colour Trophy Young Colourist 2015. In addition to this, our Cornelscourt team made up of Richard Keaveney (colourist), Suzie Dowling (stylist), Corina Hoareau (model) and Carla Rodriguez (MUA) took second place in the L'Oréal Colour Trophy.
It's not just our hairdressers who are making waves in the fashion world! Head Office based Katie Donohoe who is also studying at Griffith College Dublin had her designs placed through to the final of the Young Designer of the Year at Dublin Fashion Festival.
To round off June, the stunning Teodora Sutra was styled by Educator Suzie Dowling for Stellar magazine.
...So there you have it, six months condensed down as best we could. It's been an exciting year so far for us and we're delighted to see what the next six months has to bring!
